Fukuno-yu

Fukuno-yu | Chinese style hot spring.

A style different from many traditonal Japanese baths, Fukuno-yu makes extensive use of round shapes, patterned tiles, and rocks to create both a mysterious and relaxing environment.

Putting on yukata (light cotton kimono) and visiting each hot spring - each with its own unique style - has become a storied tradition of visitors to Kinosaki. Guests of Nishimuraya Honkan enjoy free access to all of the public onsen of Kinosaki.

What are the operating hours of the Honkan hot springs?
There are three hot springs at Nishimuraya Honkan.
They have the following operating hours:
Kichino-yu: 5:30am – 10:30am / 2:00pm – 12:30am
Fukuno-yu: 5:30am – 10:30am / 2:00pm – 12:30am
Shouno-yu (Hiratakan Annex): 6:30am – 9:30am / 3:00pm – 11:00pm
For rooms with open-air baths, is the water natural hot spring water?
Due to regulation in Kinosaki Onsen, the water of all open air bath rooms is regular, heated water (not natural hot spring water). The hot spring facilities of the Honkan, however, are natural hot spring water.
Do I have access to the hot springs of Kinosaki Onsen?
Yes. All guests of Honkan recieve a “yumepa pass” which is a barcode pass you can scan to get unlimited entrance to all of the seven public hot springs in Kinosaki Onsen.
Do you provide yukata for guests to wear?
Yes. We provide yukata in different sizes.
You may wear your yukata inside Nishimuraya Honkan and outside as you stroll through the streets of Kinosaki Onsen.
Please note that children younger than 6 years old must pay a separate charge for yukata.
