With spectacular, sweeping views of Honkan’s Japanese garden from the 2nd floor, you will soon discover why Matsu is one of our suite rooms. In addition to the impressive views, the room is one of our largest and can accommodate up to 6 guests. Matsu was constructed in the shoin-style of architecture, a style used heavily in Buddhist temples in Japan. The large Japanese-style bathtub (water is regular heated water) adds to the luxury of this historic guest room.

The bathroom is an elegant mix of modern and traditional Japanese-style design. The bamboo covered windows allow light from the outside to softly flow in.

You can slide open the glass door and enjoy a refreshing breeze while you soak in the the large cedar wood bathtub, which adds the luxurious finishing touch to the Matsu Suite Room. The water of the bathtub is regular heated water.
